Bens Bus operating times
Our transfers from Geneva to Val Thorens operate on Saturdays and Sundays. Grenoble Airport services run on weekends but our Lyon Airport services only run on Saturdays. Transfers are available between the 6th December 2025 until the 25th April 2026, depending on which airport you use. There are many shuttle buses each day and we usually transport passengers in coaches, offering cheaper fares and more space than private transfers. Prices start from just over £83 Return.
Lyon to Tignes transfer operating times
Sometimes we list out each location here so this is and area for that. Lyon Airport is the furthest airport from Tignes but most of the journey is on motorways, so although that means more tolls, it also means you can travel faster. However, during school holidays, the Parisians use this route to return home so it’s not the best airport to use during busy times. Our transfers from Lyon to Tignes run on Saturdays from the 13th December 2025 – 4th April 2026. The price of a transfer from Lyon Airport with Ben’s Bus is £97pp Return, £53pp Single.

Val Thorens Ski Resort
Val Thorens sits at an altitude of 2300m, claiming the title of The Highest Ski Resort in Europe. Known for its party atmosphere, it’s a popular destination for young groups, as it has a great selection of bars, nightclubs and restaurants. The only resorts rivaling it for all-round appeal are Tignes and Val d’Isere.
The village was constructed in the 1960’s as a purpose built ski resort. Despite this, some new and renovated developments have given it a more attractive alpine feel. It is part of the 3 Valleys ski area which offers over 600km of runs, serviced by 200 ski lifts. It has 49 blacks, 175 reds, 207 blues and 66 greens. If you have a 3 valleys ski pass, you can access 2 glaciers, ensuring your holiday is snow-sure.
