How Long Does The Journey Take?

The transfer time between Lyon Airport & Val d’Isere can take between 3 hours 35 mins – 5 hours. These times are best and worst case scenarios. Expected journey times are extremely difficult to predict in the mountains as the weather and traffic conditions can change. With the increased traffic we are seeing on the roads in recent years, at peak times our drivers may need to take a legal break en-route.We allow extra time for the journey when we know the traffic may be bad. For instance, during the French school holidays, we know which roads will be busy depending on which zone in France is on holiday. With years of experience running this route, we know when to allow more time for the journey. Put your flight details into our booking system and we will show you a list of available bus times. Very infrequently, we may ask you to change buses at Bourg St Maurice. Our reps or drivers will help you with this.
