The time from Geneva Airport to Plagne 1800, the first La Plagne resort, is about 2 hours 50 minutes, depending on the date, time of day, the weather and traffic. We allow more time for the journey when we know travel conditions may be bad. The distance is 148km (92 miles). Our vehicles usually take the most direct route via the A41 motorway, then the N90 national road through Annecy, before climbing the D221 mountain road up to the resorts.

Airport Shuttle Bus TimesEnter your travel details into our Instant Quote box and continue through the booking process. The next page will show you a price breakdown, including any discounts. Once you enter your flight details, our site will propose some shared transfer times for you.
If your flight time is not listed, then we are sorry but we cannot help you. However, you could consider the following options:

– Try booking to / from Aime or Moutiers which are towns on the valley floor. We may have a bus for you and you could then book a Single to / from your resort and then make another Single booking to / from Aime or Moutiers.

– You could change your flight to one that suits our bus times

– If you are arriving on a Friday / Saturday evening, you could stay in a hotel at Geneva Airport and then take our morning bus the next day. Just select “Hotel” for your Airline and Airport and the first flight arrival time listed to see our morning bus times.

– Remember, you could book a Single with us and another Single with another company and / or use public transport.

– See which companies we recommend for when you cannot travel with us.

Transfer TimeThe journey between Geneva Airport and Plagne 1800 on our buses usually takes between 2 hours 45 minutes and 3 hours 15 mins. For Plagne Centre the journey takes another 5 mins, for Plagne Soleil a further 5 minutes, Plagne Bellecote a further 15 minutes and for Belle Plagne a further 5 minutes. These times are approximations and are dependent on the weather and traffic conditions.The journey can be quite long, especially between 8am – 2pm and during school holidays, so bring something to read or watch or a game to play and something to keep the kids entertained. We may ask you to change buses during the journey, usually at a place where you can use the toilet facilities.  Once you put your details into our online booking system, we will show you a list of the available bus times.

We can only pick up & drop off at the points marked on the maps below. These maps will be shown on your eticket along with the pick up time. Visit the Tourist Office website to download a map of the La Plagne villages.

We are sorry but we cannot offer any advice as to which stop is best for you. You could contact your accommodation provider if you are unsure, or compare our links to googlemaps to the location of your accommodation. The free in-resort shuttle buses dart around the resorts fairly regularly but may not operate 24 hours a day!

Plagne Soleil

Plagne 1800

From the bus stop on the main mountain road, just round the corner from the residence Maeva Lauzes. On the corner of the road is a cash machine with a sign “Banque Laydernier” above it. See our Plagne 1800 Bus Stop in googlemaps.

Plagne Bellecote

Plagne 2000 (Aime La Plagne) or Plagne Villages

Although we do not have a stop in these resorts, you could book a ticket to Plagne Centre and then use the free shuttle buses or a private taxi to climb up to your resort. Compare your accommodation location to our Plagne Centre stop in googlemaps.

If you do this, we strongly recommend NOT arriving into the resort too late (so book a morning flight into Geneva) and NOT departing the resort too early (so book a late afternoon flight from Geneva) as getting between resorts either late in the day or early in the morning could be difficult. The free shuttle buses do not run 24hrs / day! You could also consider booking our bus to Aime, the town on the valley floor, and getting a taxi up the mountain.
